    RULES AND REGULATIONS*

    SCHOOL DRESS CODE

    Uniform: On school days and school functions, unless stated otherwise, all students must wear the school uniform

    The uniform consists of:
    Girl:Brick rose checked shirt and brick rose pinup frock
    Boys:Brick rose checked shirt and brick rose shorts trousers

    Note that:
    Students must possess at least two sets of uniforms. The size of the uniform should be in proportion to the height and size of the wearer

    P.T. uniform should be worn on Wednesdays only.

    Shoes: Black Canvas / Leather Shoes for School wear (Traditional Pattern)

    Socks: Brick rose with white & brown strips

    Sweaters: During the winters, the students shall wear brown sweaters

    For Boys:
    Hair should be uniformly trimmed and must be short and neatly combed.
    Nails must be cut short
    No ornaments like rings, bracelets, bands etc. are allowed.

    For Girls:
    Finger nails must be cut-short. No nail paint is to be used.
    Hair must be combed neatly, not touching the collar, not covering the forehead. Hair below shoulder length must be plaited into two. Only black clips, ribbons or bands must be used.
    Wearing Jewellery, bangles or gold chains are not permitted. Ear-rings, if worn, should not be colourful and long.

    School is not responsible for the loss/theft or damage of any of the valuables of the student (ornaments, cash etc.)

    RULES OF DISCIPLINE*

  • Pupils are expected to be punctual. Late comers are liable to be sent home at their parents' won risk.
  • Pupils who have been absent from school or late will not be admitted to the class without the Head Mistress / Principal / Supervisor's signature.
  • At the bell the pupils will get ready for the class / assembly, they move in silence to take their proper places for the class.
  • Pupils from one class are not to visit their friends in any other classroom during the recess or other periods, Grounds are provided for the same.
  • Silence must be observed in the corridors, outside the Head Mistress' / Principal's office and on the stairs during class hours. There should be no talking at the change of class periods.
  • When the students go for P.T. or move along the corridor and when changing classes they must walk in silence
  • No child will be excused from games and P.T. unless a medical certificate is produced.
  • Students must be in the school premises ten minutes in advance to be in time for the assembly.
  • Students are not allowed to bring any motor driven vehicles to school.
  • Speaking in English is compulsory within the school premises, even in private conversaton. No other vernacular language will be allowed.
  • Pupils are strictly forbidden to write or make any remarks on the walls or any part of the school premises or on the furniture. Any pupil guilty of damaging the school property will be suspended / and is liable to pay for the damages.
  • Regular late comers and without an I card will be sent home.
  • Repeated unexplained absence for more than a month renders the student liable to have his / her name struck-off the rolls, Re-admission will have to be sought.
  • Students should not litter the waste. They should use the dustbins kept around the school premises or classrooms. Students caught littering will be punished or Fined.
  • If a student is caught scribbling or tarnishing the walls, he will be punished severely. Please teach your student to treat school's/other's property like we treat our own.
  • No literature other than the text books or library books may be brought into the school premises without the headmistress's sanction. Students found having immoral books or pictures in their possession or found lending them to others are liable to be expelled from the school. Students are also not allowed to bring objects which are a source of disturbance.
  • In case of an accident or emergency. Casualties will be taken to the nearest Doctor and parents will be informed as soon as possible. While the school takes all precautions against accidents, the Management takes NO responsibility in case of accidents. In all such cases payment towards medical expenses must be taken up by the Parent / Guardian.

LIBRARY RULES

Library books will be given in the respective class during the period. These books should be maintained well and no damages should be caused.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PARENTS' ATTENTION

  1. Parents are expected to cooperate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline by checking that their children prepare their lessons and take an active and helpful interest in the activities of the school.
  2. Parents should regulatory check their children's calendar, notebooks and dully sign them. This promotes discipline in Students.
  3. Parents are NOT allowed to see the students or interview the teachers during class hours, without the permission of the Headmistress.
  4. It is expressly FORBIDDEN to buy eatables from street vendors and hence, school canteen is provided which consists of homemade eatables.
RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Parent/Guardian. I agree to...

  1. Ensure my child is at school on time unless he/she is ill or has taken prior permission from the Headmistress for leave.
  2. Discuss and keep a check on my child's work at school and provide him/her with the necessary support in his/her academics.
  3. Keep the school handbook in check for notices and updates.
  4. Maintain the rules and regulations set by the School authorities and abide by them.
  5. Make it a point to attend the 'OPEN DAY'.

  11. Students are not allowed to apply nail polish, Mehendi or tattoos Eve teasing, and tomfoolery will not be allowed.
  12. Regular late comers and without an I card will be sent home.

SAFETY RULES EVERY CHILD MUST KNOW*

  • No to Strangers: Teach your child not to go anywhere.
  • Know all the personal important details: Make sure that your child knows the address, parent/guardian's phone/mobile number well. This may help the student in an emergency.
  • Take permission before going anywhere: Teach your kinds to take permission before they go anywhere. This is because you would know if the place is safe for your child before allowing him/her to go there.

ADMISSION

A student who joins fresh from home or from another school has to possess an official birth certificate (Municipal or Baptism Certificate) to verify the date of birth entered in the admission form.

According to the Government regulations currently in force, only pupils who have completed at least 5 years by 15th June of the Scholastic year may be admitted to Std. I and corresponding of age is fixed for the subsequent standards.

The student must have a Leaving Certificate of the previous school that he/she attended. If the Pupil comes from a school outside the state, the school leaving certificate must be countersigned by the Eduction Inspector of the state.
